a. Purpose and Scope of Collection: The primary data collection on the website www.cic.com.vn, including full name, email, phone number, customer address, etc., is mandatory when customers register for services. This allows CIC to contact and confirm the registration to ensure the rights of the customer. Customers are responsible for the security and storage of all service usage activities under their registered name and email. Additionally, customers are responsible for promptly notifying CIC Technology and Consultancy JSC of any unauthorized use, misuse, security breaches, or retention of a third party’s registered name and personal information so that appropriate remedial measures can be taken.
b. Scope of Information Use: The company uses the information provided by customers to:
- Provide services/products to customers;
- Transfer technology to customers;
- Send notifications about information exchange activities as well as promotions, customer appreciation programs, organized events, etc.
- Prevent activities aimed at destroying customer accounts or fraudulent activities;
- Contact and resolve issues with customers in special cases;
- Not use customers’ personal information for purposes other than confirmation and communication related to the company’s services, products, and activities;
- In case of a legal request: The company is responsible for cooperating and providing member’s personal information upon request from judicial bodies, including the Procuracy, courts, and police investigation agencies, related to any unlawful behavior by the customer. Otherwise, no one has the right to infringe upon a member’s personal information.
c. Information Storage Time: A customer’s personal data will be stored until a cancellation request is made. Otherwise, in all cases, the member’s personal information will be kept confidential on CIC’s servers.
d. Means and Tools for Users to Access and Edit Their Data: Customers have the right to check, update, adjust, or cancel their personal information by requesting that CIC perform this action. Customers have the right to send complaints about CIC’s employees to the Website Administration Board of www.cic.com.vn. Upon receiving this feedback, CIC will confirm the information. If the customer’s feedback is confirmed, we will take timely remedial measures depending on the severity of the issue.
e. Commitment to Protecting Customer Personal Information: Personal information of customers on the website www.cic.com.vn is committed to being kept strictly confidential according to CIC’s personal information protection policy. The collection and use of each customer’s information are only carried out with that customer’s consent, except in cases otherwise stipulated by law. We will not use, transfer, provide, or disclose to any third party any of the customer’s personal information without the customer’s permission. The website administration board of www.cic.com.vn requires individuals to provide complete and relevant personal information when registering/making a purchase, such as Full Name, Contact Address, Email, Phone Number, Account Number, Payment Card Number, etc., and to be responsible for the legality of this information. The website administration board of www.cic.com.vn is not responsible for and will not resolve any complaints related to that member’s rights if it is determined that the personal information provided by the customer during the initial registration is inaccurate.
